3. REQUESTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law; natural persons, whose personal data are processed by GBG, have the following rights:
a) To learn whether his/her personal data are processed,
b) To demand information as to if his/her personal data have been processed,
c) To learn the purpose of the processing of his/her personal data and whether these processed data are used in compliance with the purpose,
d) To know the third parties to whom their personal data are transferred in country or abroad,
e) To request rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any and to request notifying the third parties to whom the personal data is transferred,
f) To request the erasure or destruction of his/her personal data and request notifying the third parties to whom the personal data is transferred under the Article 7 of the Law,
g) To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems,
h) To claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of his/her personal data.
Data subjects may send a mail to Büyükdere Cad. USO Center No: 245/33 Kat: 9, Maslak 34475, Sarıyer/İstanbul or an e-mail to info@gbg.av.tr in writing in order to exercise the above-mentioned rights. If the conducting of the requests needs any additional costs, such costs will be reflected to the applicants by the Law Firm subject to the price list determined by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (“Authority”).
In case the application is made by the data subject directly, the application should contain her/his name, surname, Turkish ID number (passport number for foreigners), address to convey the response and documents evidencing the identity.
In case the application is made by a third party who acts on behalf of the data subject, such person should be authorized explicitly on this matter and should submit any document as proof of representing her/his authority. In this case, the application should contain the names, surnames, Turkish ID numbers (passport numbers for foreigners), addresses to convey the response of both the applicant and the data subject and documents evidencing their identities.
